Up too Senate too Stop Dream Act AMENSTY for Illegal Aliens

After the impassioned speech on the floor of the House by Nancy Pelosi, the Dream Act (which is AMNESTY for over FOUR MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS) now rests with the Senate, and we can only hope our Anti-Amnesty troops can convince the Republicans and a few Democrats to vote to strip this AMNESTY out of the Defense Spending Bill.

Entergy's Vermont Yankee is LEAKING AGAIN...Comment Nan?

So Nan, you back nuclear power, presume here that you back what has amounted to the NRC's rubber stamping relicense program that carries out the DOE's NERAC plan to save the nuclear industry for National Security reasons, regardless of the harm caused to local communities, regardless of the cancer deaths caused by continued operation. Breaking in the news now while you presumably slumber in your Mclain Street home there in Bedford, the Vermont Yankee nuclear reactor has shut down once again because the aging embrittled steam pipes are developing additional leaks. Like Indian Point, this ancient behemoth well passed its safe operating life is owned by Entergy...the NRC as it always does, claims NO IMMEDIATE DANGER to the general public (you should read the book by that same title). Surely you have a comment for the press?

1. Repeal President Obama's health care reform law.

First, why is this woman at a young age a RETIRED ophthalmologist? A) She was not that good at it? B) She had too many claims against her Mal-Practice policy? C) Because she refused to see Medicare/Medicaid patients she raked in enough massive profits to retire? D) All of the above? Don't you just LOVE multiple choice?

2. Repeal the new Wall Street reform law...and you wonder why WALL STREET LOVES HER. This alone makes her a Sue Kelly clone.

By the way Nan...you ran on cutting the deficit, and shrinking Federal Government, yet when asked for particulars YOU HAD NO ANSWERS...what are your plans for Social Security?

Hayworth defeats Hall

Hayworth celebrates following latle-night Hall concession

FISHKILL – Dr. Nan Hayworth defeated John Hall to capture the 19th District congressional seat Tuesday. The race was one in the national spotlight.

Two-term Democrat Hall went down to defeat in the district that encompasses all or part of five counties in the Mid-Hudson.

The campaign centered on Hall being labeled as one of the failed Democrats in Washington while Hayworth was a political newcomer who would bring a fresh, conservative outlook on government.

After she gave her victory speech, Hayworth talked of her agenda in Washington.

“Extend permanently those ’01 and ’03 tax cuts, make sure we control federal spending,” she said. “Let’s start with retooling that new health law so that we don’t have a $2 trillion bureaucracy that we’re ramming down the American people’s throats.”
