Freshman Congresswoman Nan Hayworth No Media Darling

Perhaps because she is a wall flower, perhaps because she is very stilted in her personal presentation, or perhaps because she is just plain boring, one thing is becoming very noticeable about District 19's newly minted Congresswoman...the press for the most part is not interested in her or her rabidly pro BIG BUSINESS, radical right wing rantings...NOT EVEN FOX is using her. So, despite her rantings, she is shaping up to be a very weak and ineffectual representative for the voters of our District. If your voice is not appreciated by, sought out by the major purveyors of news, you are a loser...not even in office, and Nan Hayworth has for the most part been dismissed as just another face in the crowd. But then, having watched her public appearances, her delivery bears a striking resemblance to that of the Wicked Witch in the "Wizzard of Oz".

Some rumors have it that Nan Hayworth can be a shrill bitch...we shall see. What we do know, is she sent John Hall packing home to Dover without his $40,000 a year for life pension that he did not deserve...SHOULD HAVE KEPT YOUR INDIAN POINT PROMISE JOHN.

1. We want ILLEGAL ALIENS DEPORTED.
2. We want Indian Point CLOSED...you support it staying open, you are sentencing more of us to die of cancer.
3. We want JOBS!
4. We want the DEFICIT REINED IN...start by rolling back Congressional salaries by 40 percent...you people ARE OVER PAID.

Hayworth defeats Hall

Hayworth celebrates following latle-night Hall concession

FISHKILL – Dr. Nan Hayworth defeated John Hall to capture the 19th District congressional seat Tuesday. The race was one in the national spotlight.

Two-term Democrat Hall went down to defeat in the district that encompasses all or part of five counties in the Mid-Hudson.

The campaign centered on Hall being labeled as one of the failed Democrats in Washington while Hayworth was a political newcomer who would bring a fresh, conservative outlook on government.

After she gave her victory speech, Hayworth talked of her agenda in Washington.

“Extend permanently those ’01 and ’03 tax cuts, make sure we control federal spending,” she said. “Let’s start with retooling that new health law so that we don’t have a $2 trillion bureaucracy that we’re ramming down the American people’s throats.”
